Purpose of the Role:
To provide efficient processing and exceptional service to clients by handling the full administrative process of non-medical credit insurance claims, including retrenchment and death claims.
Minimum Experience Required:
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in:
- Assessing or administering non-medical credit insurance claims
- Verifying claim validity
- Determining settlement outcomes
- Understanding of insurance legal and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Preferred:
- National Diploma in a relevant field
Knowledge Requirements:
Minimum:
- Familiarity with financial risk analysis
- Understanding of credit policies
Ideal:
- Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
- FICA, POPIA, FAIS regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess non-medical credit life claims to determine eligibility and validity.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by meeting turnaround times and ensuring accuracy.
- Manage workflow processes and document handling in line with Capitec’s policies.
- Fulfill any ad hoc tasks related to business and development needs.
