Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- Experience: 0–6 months
- Knowledge of:
- Unemployment Insurance Act and Regulations
- UIF Contributions Act
- PFMA and Treasury Regulations
- POPIA
- Departmental Policies and Batho Pele Principles
- Skills:
- Communication (verbal & written)
- Conflict resolution
- Telephone etiquette
- Time management
- Ability to interpret UIF legislation
- Customer service
- Computer literacy
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front desk screening and client assistance
- Process applications for UIF benefits (e.g. unemployment, illness, maternity)
- Register and manage payment continuation forms
- Provide administrative support in Paymaster, Assessment or Employer Services divisions
- Deliver excellent client care and contribute to efficient UIF operations
