About the Internship

This is a valuable opportunity for recent graduates or individuals seeking to launch a career in procurementsupply chain, or administration. The intern will gain practical experience by supporting the Procurement Department with a variety of administrative and operational tasks, including purchase order validation, vendor coordination, and product updates.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education:
    • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (required)
    • Further education or qualifications (advantageous)
  • Experience:
    • 0–1 year in procurement or administration (preferred)

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend daily procurement meetings
  • Validate Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) and purchase orders
  • Verify product details and upload box quantities into systems
  • Support product and procurement teams with file checks and price comparisons
  • Follow up with vendors to collect missing product information
  • Assist in processing bulk orders, packaging reviews, and bond release documentation
  • Update procurement backlogs and assist with ad hoc tasks as required
